Why Just?
Focusing On Project
With my interest waning, I couldn’t catch the groove of the passing days. I needed a music journal to express my days without the limits of words. I wanted to play an instrument that reflected my soul, helping me clear my mind and find peace with myself.
Time slips away from us, we aren’t focused, but when we play music, we lose ourselves, meditate, and savor the present moment. We come to appreciate the value of slowness, the beauty of waiting for everything that must be earned through sacrifice. We learn to move our hands, unlike in the digital world, and we value handmade things, like a beautiful tailored suit, a crafted object, or this website I created with my notebook.
"JUST" is an important word because having less helps us understand what truly matters and what we want to focus on. It’s the wealth we need—seeking the elegance of less: fewer distractions, less excess to reach the essential. Appreciating those few things that we truly desire. Being forced to decide what to keep, making our choices while learning to give the right value to things.
Today, we seek comfort, but beautiful things are often hard to achieve. That’s why I’ve decided to learn "JUST" the double bass.
